Land Locked

The photographic body of work Land Locked, is an ongoing visual discovery of spaces of my adopted hometown of Arlington, Texas. As a city that is centrally landlocked and surrounded by other cities, I take joy in capturing the ongoing changes of this bypassed area of what is tucked between what is known as the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

While not the place of my birth, it is indeed the place I choose to call home, the place where my memories live, and the place I choose to create more of those memories. Images, captured in black and white, give the viewer a chance to pause and make ties with their own memories through the images presented.
