Absorbed, 2016, is a short series which portrays a reflection on the beauty of death and burial and it how we as humans are and will always be brought back to nature. The bearded figure with his rosy cheeks and porcelain skin, acts as a dual bridge of masculinity and femininity, that is at once enticing and mysterious, homoerotic and traditionally spiritual.
